About Early Childhood Education in Canadore College

This activity-based program is taught using a holistic approach in which the stages of a child’s developmental growth are emphasized including cognitive skills and socio-emotional development.

Graduates of any Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Arts program can complete this hands-on, intensive program in one year. Expand your knowledge and skill-set working in real-world settings.
Academic qualification equivalents
- Class 12 passed students from a recognized board including CBSE, CISCE or a state board
- All India Senior School Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate/Standard 12 or Indian School Certificate (Year 12) as recognized qualifications
English language requirements (one of the below):
IELTS: You must have a minimum overall band score of 5.5 on the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or equivalent accepted English language proficiency test to be admitted to a postsecondary program at the college.
Please note, some Whitireia degree level programmes require a higher level of English language competence.
