About Master Of Health (health Leadership) in Federation University Australia
The Master of Health program is offered online via either a full-time or part-time study mode, providing working professionals with a convenient way to engage with contemporary global debates and developments in their professional area of interest while at the same time upgrading their qualifications.
Students can choose from two separate Masters level pathways including a health leadership pathway where students are supported to develop knowledge and skills that can be applied directly into one’s own health practice area. The research pathway on the other hand offers students an opportunity to develop advanced level skills and knowledge in research practice that will support the discovery and translation of evidence into practice. The research intensive stream offers a potential pathway into a doctoral program.
The program is a 240 points degree (8 x 30 credit point courses) which is available to graduates holding both three and four year qualifications. Credit can be applied for, and commonly a graduate with a 4 year degree can complete the program after successfully completing 4 (30 credit point) courses. This is one course per semester over two years of part-time study.
