The University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) is eastern Missouri's largest public research university. UMSL has over 16,000 students from 49 states and over 70 countries enrolled, making it one of Missouri's most culturally diverse schools. Biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, business, chemistry, computer science, cybersecurity, and information systems & technology are among the university's renowned bachelor's, master's, and doctorate programmes.

The 470-acre site in suburban St. Louis County is home to cutting-edge facilities such as dedicated cybersecurity and information systems computing labs, as well as a Nanoscience centre. A network of libraries, a first-rate recreation centre, and a student centre with a variety of eating alternatives are available to students. A light rail service connects the school to the St. Louis metropolitan area.
