About Arcadia University

Established in 1853, Arcadia University is a private university in Pennsylvania, USA. In 1973, the university introduced its first graduate programs and began admitting male students. It gained the status of a university in 2001. Earlier, the university was known as Beaver College. After attaining the university status, it officially changed the name to its current name, Arcadia University. In 2006, the university opened the Department of Medical Science at its campus. Arcadia University is considered as the global university of Philadelphia.

The campus of the university is spread over 76 acres of land. It provides the students with all the facilities required at the campus. It features a store for the basic necessities. The campus has a mess. It offers accommodation facilities for the students. It avails parking facilities, picks & drop facilities, and health & wellness services for the students. The university has built a clean and green campus. The campus is close to many cafes and restaurants. Also, stationery shops, chemist shops, and departmental stores are located close to the campus. The students face no inconvenience at the campus. All the events, quizzes, and competitions conducted by the university take place within the campus. The university celebrates Fall Fest where the student's family members visit the university and spend the evening together. In the fest, alumni are also invited to get along with the students and faculty members.
