About Biomedical Engineering - Master's (m.s.) in University of Texas At Arlington
The Master of Science in biomedical engineering degree program is jointly offered by UTA and UT Southwestern Medical Center. Research and teaching efforts in the biological, engineering, mathematical, physical, and medical sciences departments of both institutions are coordinated through the Committee on Graduate Studies in Biomedical Engineering.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Students in the M.S. in biomedical engineering program learn the essentials of life, basic science, engineering theory, and analytical and practical tools that enable them to be successful in the biotechnology and biomedical engineering industries.
The 30-hour curriculum leads to a Master of Science degree in biomedical engineering. Both thesis and non-thesis options are available, with the former offering research experience in a laboratory.
