The Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Management (IACM) major has strong practical focus while grounded in robust theoretical approaches to develop a solid foundation of knowledge and skills necessary for information assurance and cybersecurity professionals. The key focus of the program is on the management of the cybersecurity function in organizations. Topics such as network security, database management, cloud security, risk management, cybersecurity governance, policies, and planning, and cybersecurity analytics and protocols are covered as they relate to managing the availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation of the information infrastructure as well as managing its restoration, integrating protection, detection, and reaction capabilities.
