About Kinesiology And Sport Management in University of South Dakota
This major sets students on one of two specialization tracks - exercise science or sport management.
Exercise Science: Our program prepares students to be involved in improving the health and overall wellbeing of people. Students learn skills in exercise assessment, prescription and programming for athletic, healthy and special populations. The curriculum prepares students to pursue further education for a variety of careers:

- Physical/Occupational therapist

- Sports medicine physician
Sport Management: Our sport management specialization focuses on the expanding business of athletics, sport entertainment and business. The curriculum prepares students for careers in:
- Sport event management
- Intercollegiate athletic departments
- Minor league sports
- Sport facility management
- Sport marketing and promotions
