About Early Childhood Education in University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC)
Early childhood is the most important time of children’s development and learning. Our field-based Early Childhood Education program prepares you to successfully teach and make an impact on the whole child.
Through our Early Childhood Education program, you will be prepared to become certified to teach children from birth through age eight (3rd grade). In this field-based program, you will experience active learning at UMKC and through classroom placements.
