About Industrial Distribution, Bs in University of Alabama At Birmingham
When you buy something at the store, do you ever think about how it got there? There's a lot to it, and understanding this can make you quite successful. With a degree in industrial distribution, you can pursue this high-demand career and work in government, high-tech industries, manufacturing, healthcare operations, or other industries.
To succeed in any of those careers, however, you're going to need to start with a solid foundation in business communications, financial management, marketing, information systems, and more. And that’s exactly what we have designed our program to offer. Then, because of our unique partnerships, we'll give you something few other schools can offer: you'll participate in collaborative research, gain real-world experience, and make valuable employer connections. In addition to our popular engineering-based program that prepares students for a technical business world, we also offer a concentration in medical equipment and supplies distribution, which features a highly integrative medical-business curriculum.
- There are only a handful of industrial distribution programs in the nation, and ours has a 100 percent success rate with graduates finding jobs. The typical graduate receives three to four job offers.
