About Early Childhood Education, Bs in University of Alabama At Birmingham
Kids approaching kindergarten are ready to learn and discover, and they need caring, talented teachers like you to guide them. In this program, we’ll help prepare you to work in a daycare or preschool, so you can mold and inspire young minds.
And these young minds are precious assets for our future. That's why your education must be the best it can be. Your courses will include Family Engagement, Child Development/Family Relationships, and others that deal with a variety of scenarios. You'll also take Language Experiences of the Young Child and Infant/Toddler Development. And finally, we'll offer you the chance to get into an actual classroom. That way, when you graduate, you'll have real-world experience on your résumé. The Early Childhood Education Non-Certification Program has accepted its final cohort of students for fall 2019. The program is temporarily suspending admissions beginning spring term 2020.
