About Anatomical Science, Ms in University of Alabama At Birmingham
We need more anatomy experts to teach at the graduate level, and this program will give you the skills you need to educate future anatomists. We can teach you to become an expert college professor in gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, and histology.
Simply put, anatomical sciences form the foundational pillars of all medical education, and more and more health care-focused programs desire experts in this field. That's why producing an abundance of professors is so critical. In this program, you'll learn about the latest innovations in anatomical sciences education. Topics will include 3D anatomy via the use of ultrasound with standardized patients, radiologic anatomy, using CT scans of cadavers, plastinated specimens, and the use of virtual microscopy in histology education.
- This is the only program of its kind in Alabama, and there are only a few like it in the U.S.
A bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university.
English Language Requirements
TOEFL (UAB code: 1856):
- TOEFL (minimum composite score of 80 and a minimum score of 20 for each section) and TWE for international applicants whose native language is not English.
IELTS: 6.5 overall with at least a 6.0 on each section of the examination
