About Statistics in Texas A&M University
The bachelor of science in statistics consists of instruction in the use of software to manage, visualize, and interpret data of all kinds; the use of probabilistic reasoning to draw conclusions from data; the design of experiments that provide insight into uncertain processes; and the use of data to build models for complex systems.
In completing this degree, students will also develop expertise in an outside area of their choosing. This degree requires an outside specialization including one of the following options: bioinformatics, business, computer science, industrial engineering, or mathematics. By carefully selecting elective courses, students who study statistics will likely be able to obtain a minor in their selected specialization area.

All foreign transcripts must include an English translation or credential evaluation prepared by a recognized service and include all original seals and/or signatures.

- IELTS : Minimum IELTS Academic test score of 6.0 overall band (Texas A&M University does not accept the IELTS General test)
