About Theatre in Suffolk University

Suffolk's Theatre Department is student-centered. We'll help you shine, whether you choose to act; write, direct, and design your own original plays; master stage or arts management; intern with leading theatre companies in Boston and abroad; and so much more. Our students work in classic, musical, and experimental genres with a special focus on new work.

Suffolk student productions take center stage at our jewel-box Modern Theatre in Boston's lively Theatre District and at the more-intimate Sullivan Studio Theatre in the Sawyer Building.
