About Global Management, Master Of Science in St John's University
The Master of Science (MS) in Global Management prepares students for a career in management at global organizations such as corporations, NGOs, and not-for-profits. Our MS in Global Management provides the opportunity to broaden skills as a management consultant, and to concentrate in a specific area, including Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Management.
Management consultants provide key strategic research, analysis, and guidance to firms on how to improve an organization’s efficiency and effectiveness. They advise managers on how to make organizations more profitable through system and process improvements, reduced costs, increased revenues, and changes in leadership.
The human resource concentration is for specializations in benefits, compensation, and job analysis and is suited for human resource managers; human resource specialists; and training and development specialists.
The supply chain concentration produces logisticians who analyze and coordinate an organization’s supply chain—the system that moves a product from supplier to consumer. They manage the entire life cycle of a product, which includes how a product is acquired, allocated, delivered, distributed, and serviced.
