About Supply Chain Management (bba) in Saginaw Valley State University
SVSU's Supply Chain Management program challenges students to streamline the flow of goods and services to businesses in such a way that maximizes their marketplace—giving them a competitive edge. By connecting business to practice, students develop the critical skills for solving modern digital enterprise conundrums that afflict most standard operations at local, state, national and global levels. Furthermore, as members of SAP's University Alliance Program, the Supply Chain Management major offers students rigorous academic training in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software—the digital information system required to oversee materials, information and finances when navigating production between suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. Using the SAP software, analytical applications and collegiate education, students solve real-world problems through their hands-on experience of managing and operating a fictitious company. All in all, these cardinals that have a passion for systems, emerging business trends and rapid prototyping don't just learn to tighten a company's efficiency—they set new standards.
