About Agronomy in Purdue University
The Purdue University Department of Agronomy is a diverse department with globally respected faculty and staff who have a passion for agronomic and environmental improvement. Research spans genetics and crop Improvement, crop physiology and ecology, cropping systems, landscape and hydrologic processes, soils and biogeochemistry, and applied meteorology and climatology. Our cutting-edge research across the crop, soils, and climate continuum in combination with our holistic view of teaching, research, and Extension prepares you for careers in industry, government, and academia.
