About Nursing (nurs_bsn) in Pennsylvania State University Park Campus
This major helps students prepare to become professional practitioners in areas of health promotion and maintenance, illness care, and rehabilitation. After earning a bachelor of science degree in Nursing, students are qualified to take the registered nurse examination for licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
The General (Four-year) B.S. program in Nursing is open to incoming first-year Students starting in the Fall semester at the Altoona, Behrend (Erie), Fayette, Mont Alto, Schuylkill, Scranton, and University Park Campuses. Penn State University Park students will spend one academic year at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
