Within a business context, business professionals must possess a functional ability to summarize, interpret, and communicate insights discovered from data analysis. In today’s business environment, business professionals need more than these foundational skills. In terms of analytical methodologies, students will explore various topics within descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. In addition, students will also learn a variety of technical skills to manage and analyze data stored within databases, which could be structured or unstructured. In addition to the technical aspects of the program, students will also learn strategic uses of information systems and analytics.
