About Biological Sciences—wildlife And Conservation Biology Major (b.s.) in Ohio University
The Wildlife and Conservation Biology track is designed for students who are interested in careers that require course qualifications for state and federal civil service registers as ecologist, wildlife biologist, wildlife refuge manager, zoologist, and general biologist. The program also provides training for students planning to go to graduate school in ecology, behavior, evolutionary biology, and wildlife biology or an allied discipline, such as conservation biology, mammalogy, ornithology, herpetology and ichthyology. Many Wildlife Biology students also obtain the Environmental Studies or the Geographic Information Science Certificate.
