The M.S. in Pharmaceutical Affairs is a one-year graduate program designed for people interested in the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the health care and biomedical fields. The degree prepares students for managerial positions in the pharmaceutical industry, health care systems, academia, managed care organizations, contract research organizations, and governmental and nongovernmental agencies. The degree provides additional preparation prior to pursuing professional careers within the health care system, such as pharmacy, medicine, physician assistant, and nursing, among others. Graduates will be able to critically analyze issues related to the health care environment and act as leaders in the field.
