About Risk Management, M.s. in New York Institute of Technology
With a strong emphasis on technology and digital solutions, our program focuses on enterprise risk management, going beyond traditional areas of cybersecurity, financial risk, and insurance to spotlight business continuity management, product and market development, human capital and risk management, and legal/regulatory risk management. Designed for practicing professionals and career aspirants, the program can be completed with as few as 30 credits.
Learn to apply principles, organization, and behavioral science theories to practical risk management problems. Case studies, simulations, research studies, and field projects provide opportunities to test and practice this new knowledge. Students often use their organizations as field laboratories for testing, modifying, and applying new practices and techniques.
We also facilitate participation in seminars and conferences sponsored by the School of Management's Centers for Excellence, offering opportunities to develop leadership skills. Graduate assistantships may also be available.
