Interior Design involves the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces and experiences in our buildings and places dealing with small and large-scale projects and installations – from single family homes and model apartments to retail, office, hospitality and healthcare applications.
As an Interior Designer, you will combine synthetic and analytic skills with an extensive knowledge of materials, color theory, construction methods, furniture, ergonomics, and user needs, to work on a wide range of projects that can include office, retail, hospitality, entertainment, restaurant, health care and residential, as well as in related fields that can range from furniture and lighting design to product marketing to construction. Interior designers leverage technology to analyze, synthesize, and pre-visualize solutions to design problems.
