About Physiology & Biophysics – Regular Program in Georgetown University
This one-year, non-thesis M.S. degree is designed as a graduate-level post-bacc “record enhancer” program for all pre-health students, including pre-med, pre-dental, and students interested in continuing to any health professional school. The M.S. in Physiology & Biophysics – Regular Program core courses include physiology, biochemistry, biostatistics, pathophysiology, neurophysiology, and a non-thesis literature-based capstone paper. Curriculum can be tailored with electives and optional lab research.
This program is also offered in collaboration with our GeorgeSquared Program. Students who complete the Advanced Biomedical Sciences certificate program and are accepted to the M.S. in Physiology – regular program are eligible to transfer their earned graduate credits to the M.S. in Physiology degree at Georgetown and complete the M.S. requirements in as little as one semester.
