The concentration in finance provides students with the analytical tools and conceptual framework needed to evaluate financial transactions and make financial decisions within firms. The academic program allows students to understand finance from three interrelated perspectives:
- Financial management related to capital budgeting, financial structure, financial analysis, working capital management, and dividend policy.

Finance also provides an excellent foundation for graduate study in business, economics, public policy, and law.
