About Aviation Management Technology [bs] in Eastern Michigan University (EMU)
The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management Technology curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for entry-level management and supervisory positions in the aviation industry.

The management program has a foundation of aviation-related and basic business coursework. Many students complete the FAA Aircraft Dispatch Certification as a part of their degree program. Degree courses include aviation history, aircraft maintenance, airline and airport operations, human factors, law and insurance, industry regulations, and safety. Students have the advantage of being immersed in the aviation industry hub in Michigan and learn through hands-on experience and contact with aviation professionals who are just minutes away from campus.

As the aviation industry continues to grow, so does the demand for capable aviation professionals. Employment opportunities include airport management, airline operations, aircraft dispatch, scheduling, air traffic control, customer relations, and many other positions within the aviation industry.
