About Master Of Science In Software Engineering (mse) in California State University Fullerton

The MSE program is designed for professionals working in the field of computer science who wish to further their skills and pursue graduate level education in software engineering.

The MSE curriculum covers industry de-facto standard and international standard models in software process,  software process assessment and improvement,  software requirements, software architectural design, software testing, software project management, software measurement, and software engineering ethics, such as agile processes, Scrum, XP, CMMI/SCAMPI, ISO 12207/15504, ISO/IEEE standards, SESC framework, test process, agile testing, maintenance metrics, Attribute-Driven Design (ADD), estimation and scheduling, project planning, and many current practices in the field.

Application (Cal State Apply) Deadline:

• International students: April 1, 2022
• Domestic students: July 1, 2022

Required Documents Deadline:

• International students: April 17, 2022
• Domestic students: July 17, 2022

Academic qualification equivalents 

• You are eligible to apply as a graduate student if you have earned a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.

  You must meet the following requirements:

• The minimum English language proficiency as determined by your graduate program. See requirements below.
• Above average class standing at an internationally accredited college or university: the equivalent of at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale is recommended.
• Note: Some master's programs have additional requirements, such as department applications, letters of recommendation, portfolios, auditions, or tests (e.g., GMAT, GRE, MAT). Graduate applicants should check with their graduate departments for additional requirements and deadlines. 
• Graduate students may request to apply a limited amount of transfer coursework towards unit requirements for a master's degree. Transfer coursework is subject to provisions provided by the graduate studies office .

• PTE Academic Test: 58
