About Environmental Studies in Boise State University
The environmental studies program offers students a truly interdisciplinary experience, with classes in the natural, physical and social sciences. This major offers great preparation for law or graduate school in public policy, the social sciences, the humanities, and for jobs with environmental organizations and government organizations. Majors in this department also are required to complete a two-credit internship with an environmental organization, agency or department, and participate in a year-long capstone team research project sponsored by an external stakeholder agency.
