You will gain the technical skills to specify, design, implement and evaluate cyber security systems. By studying the course modules, you will develop a deep understanding in key cyber security subjects, including:
- Information Security Management
- Cyber Security Architecture and Operations
- Data Privacy
- Digital Forensics
- Cloud Services: Security & Compliance
- Risk & Information Systems Control.
Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills through a series of live projects. You will gain experience of the challenges faced in the industry. In your second year you will study a Continuing Professional Development module. This will mean that you will immerse yourself in either an organisation or work on an entrepreneurial project. You will also have the opportunity to complete certification courses from companies, such as Microsoft.
