About Animation And Game Art BA (hons) in University of Worcester
Our Game Art & Animation studio is fully equipped with high spec PCs featuring industry standard software such as Autodesk Maya, Motionbuilder, Toon Boom and Adobe Suite, as well as MAC facilities.
We have a dedicated Game Art and Animation technician who is part of a wider team from the Digital Arts Centre. Our technicians are friendly and always there to help students with equipment and software. You can also hire out professional film/sound equipment, graphics tablets, lightboxes and other kit, as well as booking sound and video studios, including a state-of-the-art Film studio with Green Screen for VFX. Excellent industry links include our panel of award winning talent from our region (Dice Productions, Yaminations, Second Home Studios and Exient), who provide support and real-world experience.
Close collaboration with the Computer Games Design & Development course gives you the chance to gain a valuable understanding of how games are engineered, as well as experiencing team work opportunities mirroring industry practice.
