OVERVIEW
Our MSc International Marketing is designed to produce critically informed, operationally capable marketing practitioners who will comfortably work within a variety of business environments.
Engaging a flexible, student-centred delivery model, the MSc will have a strong focus upon the practical requirements currently expected for marketing graduates, underpinned by relevant academic theory.

The modules offered will enable you to develop the essential skills and knowledge required to operate a marketing function successfully, with optional modules developing specialist knowledge such as international and global marketing; business-to-business marketing; and marketing, innovation, creativity and enterprise.
COURSE DETAILS
MSc International Marketing is designed to produce critically informed, operationally capable practitioners through a flexible, student-centred delivery model. The MSc will have a strong focus upon the practical requirements currently expected for marketing graduates, underpinned by relevant academic theory. In addition, assessments, based on live case studies, will provide you with insights into the issues facing companies.
The suite of modules contain a blend of general and specialist marketing modules and management modules with emphasis on international themes.
For the Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) stage, you will study the following core modules:
- Consumer Behaviour (core, 20 credits)
- Branding People Places and Spaces (core, 20 credits)
- Creative Research (core, 20 credits)
- Integrated Marketing Communications (core, 20 credits)
To complete the PgDip, you will require to successfully pass another 40 credits made up from optional modules which include:
- International Marketing (optional, 20 credits)
- Business-to-business Marketing (optional, 20 credits)
- Digital Marketing (optional, 20 credits)
- Strategic Marketing (optional, 20 credits)
- Service Marketing (optional, 20 credits)
- Social Marketing (optional, 20 credits)
- Content Media Management (optional, 20 credits)
Successful completion of the PgDip allows you to proceed to the master's dissertation module:
- MSc Marketing, Events & Tourism Dissertation (core to MSc, 60 credits)
Upon completion of the course, you will have attained a Masters-level qualification and may wish to pursue doctoral research both within the University or at other Higher Education Institutes.
