OVERVIEW
The MA in Cultural Diplomacy & International Events course will teach you the necessary contexts with which events are located:
- Political
- Economic
- Cultural
- Social
In addition, you will also learn the most effective strategies and tactics to secure sought after benefits and to acknowledge the potential drawbacks or negative consequences that can accompany the bidding, hosting and legacy resulting from these events.
You will graduate with an appreciation of useful strategies, policies and practices for advancing cultural diplomacy, and be able to apply these to a range of different circumstances. Having been exposed to real-life professional practice you will be well-versed in presenting your work to a range of stakeholders.

Although the MA Cultural Diplomacy pathway has some core features, you will also benefit from a degree of specialisation that will prepare you for a career in your chosen area of events, sport or music.
