Areas of study
As a research student, you're associated with one or more research groups in the Department of Engineering and Design:
- Dynamics, Control and Vehicle Research Group
- Industrial Informatics and Signal Processing Research Group
- Sensor Technology Research Centre
- Thermo-Fluid Mechanics Research Centre
- Creative Technology Research Group.
We welcome research proposals in all of the areas our faculty specialise in.
Academic qualification equivalents
- Bachelors degree with an overall mark of at least 54-69% depending on your university.
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS : 6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in each component
- TOEFL : 88 overall, including at least 20 in Listening, 19 in Reading, 21 in Speaking, 23 in Writing.
- PTE : 62 overall, including at least 56 in all four skills.
