Course description
This course will prepare you for further research at MPhil/PhD level. We’ll give you training in research methods, then you’ll work with your supervisor to formulate a research topic and complete a 12,000–15,000-word dissertation.
The rest of your coursework is up to you. You might choose to develop your language skills in Hebrew, Greek, French or German, or you could focus more on the historical or contemporary cultural aspects of biblical studies. Alternatively, you might choose to do a work placement module to gain valuable experience in media, charity or academic work.
Entry requirements
Minimum 2:1 honours degree, or equivalent.
English language requirements
Overall IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component, or equivalent.
