About Interior Architecture in University of Salford

In many space-constrained cities, finding imaginative and sustainable uses for existing buildings is a key challenge for architects and urban designers. Our degree in Interior Architecture will lead you to a creative career finding solutions for this important urban challenge.

Led by our School of the Built Environment, consistently ranked amongst the World Top 100 (QS world ranking 2018) centres for architecture studies, the course blends creative design skills with comprehensive professional knowledge to prepare you for success in industry.  

You will:

• Study the theories, techniques and technologies that influence and shape the built environment for its users
• Understand the importance of heritage, preservation and the management of building regeneration
• Collaborate with other built environment disciplines which focus on the 'making of buildings’
• Work on live briefs across Greater Manchester and beyond

Academic qualification equivalents

• Students who have successfully completed Standard XII examinations will be considered for entry onto our undergraduate degrees across the full disciplinary spectrum.

• IELTS :6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent
