• Take advantage of a flexible course. The first year is common with BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering with Composites and BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering, allowing you to swap courses.
• Progress onto the MEng (Hons) Marine Technology at the end of the second year if you are doing well.

The course fully satisfies the educational base for an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and partially satisfies the educational base for a Chartered Engineer (CEng). You'll need to undertake a programme of accredited Further Learning to complete the educational base for CEng.
