Our Social Science Research (Political Science and International Relations) MA course is aimed at students who want to become expert researchers in social science and want to follow an ESRC-funded pathway onto a PhD. If you are considering a university teaching or research career, then this programme will equip you with the methodological skills that you will need.
You'll learn about methods and techniques used in social sciences research, such as:
- data collection and analysis
- the philosophical, ethical and political issues that underpin social sciences research
- theories of research design
