About Biotechnology Msc in University of Liverpool

This programme will provide you with in-depth scientific knowledge of the subject and its application. You will be taught by our internationally renowned scientists, in collaboration with internationally excellent Research Centres, including the University of Liverpool Computational Biology Facility, the newly established Centre for Metabolomics, the Centre for Proteomics, and the Centre for Genomic Research and the Materials Innovation Factory.
This programme provides you with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a professional scientist in your chosen area of biotechnology. It has been specifically designed to enhance students’ careers in different biotechnology sectors in a variety of research, product and technology development, and leadership roles.
If Biotechnology is your interest, upon successful completion of the MSc you may wish to continue with your education by studying for a PhD.

- IELTS: 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.
- TOEFL iBT: 88 overall with 20-Listening, Writing, Reading, 22-Speaking.
- PTE: 62 with minimum scores of 51 in each component.
