About Neuroscience Mbiol, Bsc in University of Leeds
Studying Neuroscience at the University of Leeds covers all major areas of neuroscience, from the molecular to the clinical/pathological, studying questions such as ‘what is consciousness?’ and ‘how do we form and store memories?’
Our undergraduate degree, you’ll study the disorders of the nervous system which underlie many current public health problems such as neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s) and chronic pain. You’ll also carry out practicals, making single neuronal recordings in snail brains.
Our integrated Masters offers you an additional year of specialist training. You’ll study advanced research topics and undertake an extended research project.
IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in any component.
Higher secondary academic qualification level including chemistry or biolagy.
