About Primary Education, Pgce in University of Greenwich
Our PGCE in Primary Education (postgraduate and professional routes) will enable you to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to teach in primary schools. We have exciting partnerships with schools, focusing in the urban inner-city. You will be able to train in two consecutive age ranges:
- Foundation + Key Stage 1
- Key Stage 1 + Key Stage 2
- Key Stage 2 (covering ages 7-9 and 9-11).
You will spend at least 24 weeks across two primary schools, which provides the extended experience you need to develop your professional knowledge and skills. There will be further opportunities to engage in a range of specialist schools and educational contexts.

Academic Entry Requirements
Postgraduate Degrees (Master's)
For entry to our Master's programmes, you will need to have met the following:
- Four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% in Final Year for UK 2:2 OR 65% for UK 2:1(50% for UK 2:2 OR 60% for UK 2.1 from top University:Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Osmania, JNTU)
- 70% in English in Standard XII or English language requirements

For some undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses, you need:

For MPhil/PhD postgraduate research degrees, you need:
- IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component
For many of our extended degree programmes, you will need:
- IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
