Our degree in advertising and digital marketing communications combines French, Italian, Mandarin or Spanish study with the skills and knowledge you'll need for your advertising and digital marketing career. The language element of this course starts with a module suited to your current level of knowledge.
Modules include customer insight, brand management and social media, which focus on real knowledge and practical experience. You'll also have an opportunity to take part in the Erasmus+ student exchange programme. Careers and placements
Will I have a work placement?
Work placements are optional, and you are responsible for arranging your placement with support from the university.
Previous students have secured a placement year at Demoncode Limited and Itelligence (Information Technology and Services).
How long is my placement?
Work placements are 9-12 months of full-time paid work. You take this between the second and third years of study.
What are the financial arrangements?
UK placement annual salaries range between £13,000-£18,000 pro rata. Some charity/voluntary work organisations offer travel costs and lunch expenses in lieu of a full salary.
What sort of careers do graduates pursue?
This degree will prepare you for international management positions within advertising and public relations agencies and careers in sales promotion, marketing, media, digital communications and other advertising fields.
Are internships available?
Internships are optional, and last for a minimum of six weeks. Gain a Certificate in Professional Practice and valuable employment experience before graduating.
