About Sport Coaching Science Bsc (hons) in University of Gloucestershire
The BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching Science degree aims to develop your understanding of the dynamic and complex interactions which exist within the coaching environment. You’ll investigate the science behind performance for athletes and coaches, while developing vital practical coaching skills.
Our Sport Coaching Science BSc (Hons) course scored 92% for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2021.
As part of an integrated programme with our Masters (MSci) in Sport Coaching Science, there’s also an opportunity to seamlessly progress beyond the BSc (Hons) into further study. This progression pathway offers greater exposure to real-world placements and opportunities to work in collaboration with our network of external partners, enabling achievement of a Master’s degree in Sport Coaching Science. Our partners include Gloucester rugby, Aston Villa FC, Cheltenham Town FC, Severn Stars Netball and Bristol Bears rugby.

Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
English language requirements
- IELTS :6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band
- TOEFL IBT : 80 Reading – 20,Writing -19,Listening – 19,Speaking – 22
