About Sport And Exercise Sciences Bsc (hons) in University of Gloucestershire
Your degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences will allow you to apply scientific principles to the promotion and maintenance of exercise and health and to sporting performance.
This programme is endorsed by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and The School of Sport and Exercise are in partnership with The Chartered Institute of the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
You will explore:
- How the human body responds to exercise to maintain health and optimise performance.
- How nutrition can influence health and performance.
- How psychological interventions can promote a healthy lifestyle as well as support athlete achievement.
Key disciplines include biomechanics, physiology and psychology. Our interdisciplinary modules include nutrition for sport and exercise, performance analysis, exercise for special populations, sports injuries and modules dealing with “big data” and new sports performance technologies.

Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
English language requirements
