About Physical Education And Coaching Bsc (hons) in University of Gloucestershire
Sport and physical activity is fundamental to healthy development of individuals. The Physical Education and Coaching degree will focus on understanding the development of young people and beyond in sports teaching and coaching contexts.
You’ll develop skills across a range of sports and physical activities, gaining a variety of experience in schools, coaching settings and within community sports development contexts. Many graduates progress into careers such as a PE teaching, sports coaching and working within local authorities or county sports partnerships.
The course will explore innovative approaches to coaching/teaching and encourage you to critically reflect on your own delivery and the impact different approaches have on learners. In addition, you’ll develop an understanding of contemporary issues in physical education and coaching including motivations to participate in sport and physical activity as well as the barriers to participation for different abilities and backgrounds.
Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
English language requirements
- IELTS :6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band
