About Landscape Architecture BA (hons) in University of Gloucestershire
Learning from high-quality staff and lecturers you’ll work on real sites, on real scenarios, investigating real issues. You’ll work on client-driven briefs in landscape studios to develop your design creativity and hone your professional practice skills. Students have worked on a range of sites in Cheltenham such as Pittville Park, Gloucester such as Kings Square, and Bristol such as The Diesel Depot and Temple Meads.
With a number of industry partners linked to the course, you’ll benefit from sponsored events, visits to landscape practices and lectures delivered directly by current practitioners. Partners have included LDA Design, Arup, Grant Associates, Barton Wilmore, Atkins Global, Grontmij, BDP, Sustrans and Merrick Denton-Thompson, current president of the Landscape Institute.
You’ll develop design creativity through national and international study trips where you’ll explore examples of historic, contemporary and cultural landscapes. Previous trips include Copenhagen, New York and Barcelona.
This course was also rated 90% for teaching, over 91% for learning opportunities and resources in the National Student Survey 2019.
Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
English language requirements
