About Interior Architecture And Design BA (hons) in University of Gloucestershire
Interior architects design new spaces or imaginatively adapt, reuse, remodel, refurbish and refit existing buildings creating new exciting, experiential spaces and places.
As interior architects, you’ll breathe new life into the tired fabric of old buildings, with sensitive understanding of the site and client context, meeting the needs of the people who will eventually inhabit the spaces you design. You’ll learn an understanding of your social responsibility, a design citizen of the world, as well as the skills to design and interpret environmental conditions, materiality and an understanding of design and construction processes.
Our course provides a mix of innovation and creativity, we want you to challenge and question preconceived ideas of what interior architectural design is, or might potentially become. The course encourages you to experiment, take risks and think outside the box ‘ literally!
