About Film Production BA (hons) in University of Gloucestershire
You’ll learn how to make sophisticated industry and festival-relevant short films while gaining a wide range of filmmaking skills in cinematography, editing, producing, directing, screenwriting and production design. Making use of our dedicated film studio and wide-ranging post-production facilities, we’ll help you develop your individual creativity – while also preparing you for professional work in the industry after you graduate.
Films by our students and graduates have enjoyed successes in the film industry worldwide – including a Sundance Ignite Fellowship, Official Selection at SXSW, Royal Television Society awards, London Short Film Festival, Sheffield Documentary Festival, Aesthetica, Final Girls, Encounters and Underwire Festivals.
Our Film and Television Production students have also been part of the new BBC New Creatives Scheme and have had their films selected for screening.
Our graduates have credits on multiple films, features, television productions and high-end dramas.

Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
