About Computing Technologies Bsc (hons) in University of Gloucestershire
You’ll become a well-rounded digital media and web developer able to create innovative media rich web sites. The degree covers a range of technical aspects – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL and PHP – as well as creative skills such as audio, animation, graphic design and 3D modelling. User experience, mobile games and augmented reality are major themes of the course.
Our Creative Computing subject community scored 97% satisfaction for Learning Opportunities in the National Student Survey 2021.
You’ll have the option to complete a year-long work placement. Students have worked at Rancon, Montpellier Creative, Athena Web Design and IBM. You’ll also analyse how applications can work within a real-world context by taking exciting field trips.
Previous students have visited the Design Museum in London to see how technology could influence perceptions of the artefacts, the VR World Congress conference to get hands on experience of cutting edge virtual reality solutions and Tamworth Snow Dome to produce applications assisting skiers.
Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
English language requirements
