About Biology Bsc (hons) in University of Gloucestershire
Learning in the field and lab, focusing on local and global biological issues, you’ll join our Biosciences team – ranked 6th nationally for student experience by the Guardian and The Times.
You’ll start with biochemistry, physiology, taxonomy and the ecology of animals and plants. You can then choose to follow themes that mirror our research specialisms in molecular biology, ecology, global change biology and whole organism biology.
You’ll have the opportunity to progress from field training in the UK to field research overseas, in the Savannah of South Africa, the tropical rainforests of Borneo or mountains of Switzerland.
Throughout, you’ll be guided by lecturers awarded for their teaching excellence and media work, and internationally-recognised for their frontline conservation research in bioscience.
Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
English language requirements
- IELTS :6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band
