About International Law & Security LLM in University of Glasgow

This is an innovative programme that focuses on the role and relevance of international law in a rapidly changing global security environment. It reflects the breadth of contemporary international security issues, addressing issues as diverse as terrorism, armed conflicts and transnational organised crime.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

A 2.1 Honours degree or non-UK equivalent in law or other subject with at least 50% of the credits in law. We also consider applications from politics, international relations, European studies or war studies graduates.

For applicants whose first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic module (not General Training)

• 6.5 with no sub-test under 6.5.
• Tests must have been taken within 4 years 5 months of start date. Combined scores from two tests taken within 6 months of each other can be considered.

TOEFL (ib, my best or athome)

• 92 with minimum R 23, L 23, S 23, W 24.
• Tests must have been taken within 4 years 5 months of start date. Combined scores from two tests taken within 6 months of each other can be considered.

PTE (Academic)

• 60 with minimum 60 in all subtests.
• Tests must have been taken within 4 years 5 months of start date. Combined scores from two tests taken within 6 months of each other can be considered.
