About Data Analytics Msc in University of Glasgow
Data is becoming an ever increasing part of modern life, yet the talent to extract information and value from complex data is scarce. This Masters will provide you with a thorough grounding in state-of-the art methods for learning from data, both in terms of statistical modelling and computation. You will also gain practical hands-on experience in carrying out various data-driven analytical projects. Previous study of Statistics or Computing Science is not required.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A first degree equivalent to a UK Upper Second Class Honours degree, normally with a substantial Mathematics component (at least equivalent to Level-1 courses in Mathematics and Level-2 courses in Calculus and Linear Algebra at the University of Glasgow).
This programme is not available to recent graduates who have been awarded an undergraduate degree in Statistics from the University of Glasgow.

Applicants will be made offers based on their relative performance compared to other applicants, considering both current GPA to date or degree classification; English language level achieved to date; and the relevance of an applicant’s academic background. If an offer is made, it may be unconditional or conditional on completing a degree or obtaining the required English language scores.
For applicants whose first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level.
